A Scary Process

I'm preparing for an invasive test to make sure I am not bleeding internally, nor have cancer.  I am able to handle the news, but not sure what I will do IF I have cancer or something.  My guess is that it was something temporary in my system, and nothing to worry about.  But at age 57, I am not willing to take a chance.  Wish me luck.

You are in our prayers. I would rather trust in God than in luck.

thank you for reminding me of the need for prayer, not worry.  I came through the test fine, and have a follow up on Friday.  They found and removed one polyp from my colon, and I have irritation in my esophagus.  The follow up will check my internal organs by xray (or something similar).  I go back in one year for another "scope"

@MommaMel1961 - I got results back on Wednesday, this week.  I had three (3) poylps on my colon.  It is the type that can become cancerous.  They were removed, and there is no evidence of cancer in them.  I am supposed to schedule for another colonoscopy in one year.  So, 2010, June, will probably feature another procedure: yuck!
