Open Letter to the Assemblies of God leadership

 Where are we going?  I read in a recent Christianity Today of another leader being forced to resign his position for inappropriate conduct.  While not spelled out, this is not a comforting bit of news.  Many of us have been wondering over the past ten years if we have a clear direction to continue the ministry the way we have been doing it, or if we are changing ways.  Here in the Northwest, we are seeing changes in what we call our legal structures.  Sometimes it looks like we are turning our backs on long-held traditions such as Camp Meetings, and owned campgrounds where our kids as well as adults can get renewed in their faith.  Sometimes we almost feel you do not care.
We have a General Council coming up in August.  Which way, leaders, which way?  I certainly hope we will more clearly enunciate the precious timeless truth of God's love, and portray it from coast to coast and across the sea in a consistent manner befitting the 21st century.  God bless you.

@ProudToBeAChristianFruitcake -

I guess I do not get that much traffic. "Proud...", I wonder what you identify with? Yes, I am A of G.

Scribble outside the lines...
How funny that your son, raised A/G attends a Baptist church I am curious to see what responses come in for this.

I grew up Worldwide Church of God, and I am now Southern baptist.  but through various visits and mission trips I have also attended Evangelical Free, and National Baptist,
